Positive Behaviour Support & Safeguarding

This course also covers specialist training in understanding and responding to behaviours that challenge, with a focus on safe, respectful, and supportive approaches:

  • Safeguarding children and vulnerable individuals

  • Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) techniques

  • Diffusion and de-escalation strategies

  • Primary and secondary prevention methods

  • Introduction to Functional Behaviour Analysis

  • Post-incident support and reflection

Reactive strategies are included in the extended (2-day) course option.
